The purpose of the WIC API is to support work integration companies (Dutch: Werkbedrijven) within the social domain by providing essential functionalities for managing and integrating their systems. Through this API, customers can seamlessly integrate with their external systems in the social domain. Together with the extension API customization is possible. Customization involves adding bespoke fields to the extention API on both Person and Employment entities.
Extensions are always configured for a specific application and customer. The application must already exist before additional fields can be added. Adding these extensions is handled by Visma Raet as part of the onboarding process for a specific customer’s application.
Processes
The following processes can be supported with the domain API:
- Get all the relevant basic employee data
- Get the organization structure with the responsible persons like the manager
- Get the absenses information of the employee, like sickness or leave
